Well, in keeping with my good friend Tom’s example of relating his adventures in Spain, I’ve decided to keep this chronicle of my experience studying at Oxford University. I can’t write much just yet, seeing as I am currently seated at my desk in Ledyard, CT, and don’t leave for England for six days. However, I figured it would be in good form to have a short intro (very) briefly outlining of this blog’s purpose, just in case I decide to look at it in sixty years and can’t quite remember why I bothered. That, and it gives me a chance to play around with Blogger.
There is, of course, a benefit for you as well, though exactly what it is, I can’t say. To be perfectly honest, you’ve wasted your time reading this post, as there is nothing truly important in it. If you want an idea of what I’ll be aiming at, go read Tom’s blog, which has some substance. Otherwise, check back in a week or so, when I’ll hopefully have had a chance to relate my first few days in the UK. Until then, I’ve got packing to do, and you’ve got a life to lead, so let us both go about those tasks, shall we? I’ll talk to you next week.
